"A man in love is incomplete until he has married. Then he's finished."

-- Zsa Zsa Gabor

I've had the great fortune to share in a few special days with friends, family, and a few referrals.  Photographing weddings is stressful because it's "THE DAY" in someone's life and they are counting on me to capture the emotions for them to relive for a lifetime.  I absolutely insist on meeting beforehand and getting to know the bride, groom, and if possible close family or any children involved in the ceremony.  Weddings are too important for me to ever treat them simply as a "job or payday."  I would have a hard time shooting a wedding if I didn't have the chance to get to know the couple first.  For this reason i like to include a free engagement photo session before the day of the ceremony.  It makes me feel more comfortable and I believe does the same for the bride and groom as well.

I don't shoot a ton of weddings and haven't advertised the service to this point.  This is primarily because I have a full time job with weekend responsibilities.  I have the availability to shoot some throughout the year as long as I have fair notice and can schedule myself to be off that weekend.
